I think most people playing and learning and teaching jazz today don’t realize that the music they are working with hasn’t even caught up to what Coltrane, Hill, Dolphy and Henderson were doing in the 1960s and 1970s. Not to mention what Coleman, Lehman and Binney are doing today. Peace, Cb
